Watercolor Journaling |
Sunday, October 9, Noon to 4 p.m. |
Watercolor journals are a great way to capture unique images in a short period of time and add a new dimension to your travel experiences. Through demonstrations and individual instruction, this workshop with local watercolorist, Diane Dubreuil, will focus on how to develop a watercolor journal for traveling or simply painting “en plein air” where you live. Diane will demonstrate drawing techniques and take you, step-by-step, through the stages of laying in transparent watercolor value studies, and laying in local colors or those of your imagination. She will show journal samples from her trips to France, Italy, the Maine coast and inland, and our local New Milford area. |
