Park in New Milford, CT is a delightful place to visit. This painting
was done early spring 2011. The snow had just melted and the tree buds
were just warming up. It is a gorgeous place to visit when the spring
flowers are up. As I painted this in 2011, it was a rare-for-spring sunny
day, and the the volunteer gardeners were opening the gardens. On May
14, 2011, the park hosted an all arts event designed to raise awareness
about the arts and to encourage the public to support the care and maintenance
of the park. |
