Watercolor Paintings by artist Diane Dubreuil

As a new mother, one of the first gifts from my children (and their dad) was an azalea. We planted it in the front yard of our home in Nashua, NH. We had a lovely yard, and it seemed as though something was blooming throughout the warm weather months. Once-in-a-while, when the kids played outside, I had a few moments to paint. Sometimes they painted along with me. This was not a first attempt at painting this, nor the last. But, I had fun designing the white areas and playing with the variety of greens and green shapes.
